Level I Care
(available for an additional $190.00 per month)

Level I Care includes all services listed under Independent Living, plus

• Assistance with bathing
• Monitoring of personal hygiene
• Reminders and direction, if necessary
• Daily trash collection
• Simple Bed Making

Level II Care
(available for an additional $245.00 per month)

Level II includes all services listed under Independent Living and Level I, plus

• Assistance with dressing in the morning or assistance with undressing in the evening
• Toileting reminders
• Monitoring of special health problems as needed

Level III Care
(available for an additional $300.00 per month)

Level III care includes all services listed under Independent Living, Levels I and II, plus

• Assistance with dressing in the morning and evening
• Toileting reminders and occasional assistance
• Escort to and from meals as necessary
• Close monitoring of resident’s condition, including daytime, evening, and nighttime checks
• Laundering of bed linens as necessary

Level IV
(available for an additional $520.00 per month)

Level IV Care includes all services listed under Independent Living, Levels I, II and III, plus

• Assistance with incontinence
• Limited wheelchair assistance (resident must be able to transfer to wheelchair independently)
• Assistance with meals

Respite Care
(available for $140.00 per day)

A respite resident must meet all of the qualifications of a permanent resident. Respite care at The Ballentine is available for anyone who needs temporary extra care following surgery and includes all services listed in Independent Living, Levels I, II, III, and IV, plus

• Coordination of rehab services, if ordered by a physician
• Respite Care is for a minimum of one week and a maximum of sixty days
